Kaggle Survey Dataset 2022: Getting Started

This is part 1 of my 5 part series of analyzing survey dataset in Python. For this purpose, I’m exploring Kaggle’s 2022 survey dataset to uncover and explore some patterns and insights.

For data enthusiasts and gurus already in the field, and Kagglers — would probably all know of the yearly analytics competition held by Kaggle. This year’s challenge is on-going, and I’m planning to give it a go (wish me luck!).

As this is the first time I’ve entered any competition, the notebooks already made public by Kaggle are awe-inspiring. So I’ve been browsing through them, and picking up some really useful insights from everyone’s work.

My goal is to map out a roadmap for budding data analysts and students looking to break into the field of data science in 2023. We will dive deep into data to answer most frequently asked questions. Which programming language should you learn? Should I pursue a Masters’ degree in Data Science? Do online courses help? And much more!

Although these questions are often answered by forum users, but we will use an evidence based data-driven approach to see what actually is the case.
